“Your house is READY! (God’s word for me today)

I was searching for a different scripture this morning and God directed me here.

When both Nik and Mckennah were small, I had an old picture of my mother Sarah who passed before they were born. One day McKennah asked me about going to visit there Grandma Sarah and I told her;

"She is in Heaven with Jesus"

Well, that answer did not make her happy, she insisted that we go visit her there. My answer to why she couldn't go now to see her was probably not going to be an easy one. But I simply told her what Jesus told his disciples in John 14:2

"There are so many rooms in my Father's house, I will go now and prepare a place for YOU"

I explained that your grandma's house was completed and she went to be with Jesus AND someday your house will be ready too but it will take a long time to make it perfect for you. No one knows how long that will be.

This answer wasn't what she wanted to hear but a child can picture this. Jesus loved making truth easy for even a child to understand. We adults make our world more complicated.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY HOUSE TO BE READY AND I CAN JOIN MY MOTHER, FATHER and ESPECIALLY McKENNAH THERE!!!
